Terms of service

Nodava is an educational and informational tool. It is not a medical device, not a medical record system, and not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It does not diagnose conditions and does not recommend medications, doses, or treatment plans. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making any health decision based on your lab results. Full details are in the Medical Disclaimer.

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, or use Nodava under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
• You must provide accurate information and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• By uploading a lab report you confirm the report is yours, or that you have the legal right and permission to upload and analyze it.
• One person, one account. Do not share credentials or upload another adult's results without their permission.

When you upload a lab document, it is transmitted once to an AI provider for analysis, the biomarkers and explanations are extracted, and the original file is then deleted. Nodava does not retain your original PDF or photo. Extracted results are saved to your account (or, if you are not signed in, only to your own browser) so you can build a lifetime lab record. If you join a clinic using a clinic code or invitation, you are authorizing that clinic and its listed providers to view the reports and biomarker data in your Nodava record. A clinic may accept or decline your request. You can ask us to disconnect you from a clinic at any time by emailing Dylan.nodava@gmail.com. Disconnecting removes free clinic-sponsored access and returns your account to standard individual limits.

• Individual accounts include one free report analysis for the lifetime of the account. This limit applies per person, including after leaving a clinic or creating a new account.
• Additional analyses are available as a one time purchase of $11 USD per report. Prices are shown before checkout and may change for future purchases.
• There is no free trial for individual accounts. Free trials apply only to clinic plans, under separate clinic terms shown at checkout.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Nodava does not receive or store your full card details.
• Because analysis is delivered immediately and consumes AI processing, purchases are non-refundable once an analysis has been run. If an analysis fails through our fault, contact us and we will re-run it or refund it.

• Do not upload documents you do not have the right to upload, or content that is not a lab or health report.
• Do not use Nodava to provide medical care, diagnosis, or treatment to others as if it were a clinical decision-support system.
• Do not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload, bypass usage limits or paywalls, or gain unauthorized access to any part of the service or another user's data.
• Do not resell, sublicense, or republish Nodava output as your own clinical product.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules or that create risk for other users.

Nodava uses automated extraction and AI-generated explanations. Automated systems can misread a value, miss a biomarker, or produce an explanation that does not fit your clinical context. Nodava does not warrant that results are complete, accurate, or current. Always check the numbers against your original lab report and review them with your provider. Never delay seeking care because of anything you read in Nodava.

Nodava is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nodava and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for any health outcome, decision, or action taken based on the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid Nodava in the twelve months before the claim, or $50 USD. You assume full responsibility for how you interpret and act on the information provided. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately. Do not use Nodava for urgent or emergency medical situations.

• You may stop using Nodava and delete your account at any time. Deleting your account removes the reports saved to it.
• We may modify or discontinue features, and may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above and, where appropriate, announced in the app.
• Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
